Job summary

Avante Care & Support Ltd. is opening Malling Grange in West Malling and seeks a Relief Senior Care Lead to oversee day-time shifts. You will mentor staff, deliver person-centred care, and cover in the absence of senior leadership as the home launches.

The role offers days-based relief with NVQ Level 3 required, generous benefits, and opportunities for training as Malling Grange opens Autumn 2026.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
• Capable of leading by example with compassion and professionalism
• Proactive and caring approach to residents' needs

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Care Support Assistants to deliver person-centred care
• Provide hands-on care and build meaningful connections with residents
• Manage the home in the absence of senior leadership

Join the opening team at Malling Grange, 2 Station Road North, West Malling, ME19 6XF – our brand-new, luxury and personalised care home opening in Autumn 2026.

Please note: Whilst Malling Grange is being prepared for opening, successful applicants will initially work at Pilgrims View, 19 Roberts Road, Snodland, ME6 5HL, before transferring to Malling Grange when the home opens.

Designed around luxurious interiors and modern care technology,Malling Grange will offer spacious en-suite bedrooms, elegant lounges, a café/bistro, cinema, hair salon, landscaped gardens, wellbeing spaces and four individually themed care suites.

We are building a passionate founding team who will bring warmth, professionalism, and dedication to every resident’s experience .

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and mentor Care Support Assistants to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
