Job summary

Avery Healthcare’s Grove Park Care Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support daily care delivery and patient wellbeing. The role includes updating care plans, assisting with medications, and acting as a key contact for residents and families. DBS check and UK work eligibility are required.

Applicants should have NVQ 3 in care and at least two years’ experience in a similar setting. DBS costs are covered by Avery Healthcare and opportunities for professional development are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care homes.
• Two years' experience in a similar care environment.
• DBS disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support the Care team to deliver personal care in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and amend care plans as needs change.
• Carry out monthly care plan evaluations and participate in person-centred planning.
• Support residents with medication requirements as needed.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and health professionals.
