Job summary

Avery Healthcare UK in Cobham, Surrey is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team at Silvermere Care Home. You will support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role requires an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, plus about 2 years' experience and excellent communication. DBS clearance will be arranged as part of joining Avery.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills and flexible, compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver high standards of personal care for residents.
• Monitor wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Provide staff supervision and support development.
