Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm Senior Care Assistant at Braintree Mews Care Home in Braintree. You will support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, compassionate environment, while upholding our values of respect and accountability.

Role requires NVQ 3 or equivalent and at least 2 years in a similar care setting, with strong communication and flexibility to cover varied responsibilities; DBS and right to work UK are required. DBS cost covered by Avery.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Positive attitude with a caring, respectful approach.
• Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
• Maintain a safe, caring, open and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Monitor wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Involve in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Assist with residents' medication requirements and staff development.
