St Philips Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Whim Hall Care Centre in Scotland. You will lead a care team to deliver high-quality, dignified care, supporting residents with daily activities and health needs in a friendly, close-knit home environment.

The role emphasizes person-centred care, independence, and collaboration with the manager, including covering manager duties when needed. Full-time hours available.

Formación

• NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Previous experience of as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
• A passion for care of the elderly.
• Experience of Medication Administration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop and co-ordinate a team of care workers to provide high standards of care.
• Support the Manager in the overall management of the home.
• Assume responsibilities of the Manager in their absence.
• Promote person-centred care and maximise residents' independence.
• Ensure care planning and confidentiality are maintained.
• Move and handle residents, assist with daily hygiene and dressing.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Attend in-service training and ensure compliance with policies.
