Job summary

The Maple Care Centre, operated by St Philips Care Group, is recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant (Days & Nights) on a full-time basis in the United Kingdom. You will lead a close-knit team to provide person-centred care, support daily living activities, and uphold residents’ dignity and independence.

The role involves assisting the Manager, stepping in during absences, and ensuring high standards of care in a welcoming home. Training and induction are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
• Experience as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
• Passion for care of the elderly.
• Experience of Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coordinate a team of care workers to provide high standards of care.
• Support the Manager in overall management of the home.
• Attend training and mandatory sessions.
• Ensure care plans promote residents’ participation and independence.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity of residents.
• Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to the Manager.
