Job summary

Midway Care Group in Derbyshire is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager for a fixed-term maternity cover. The role oversees supported living services, ensuring personalised, high-quality care for individuals with learning disabilities.

You will supervise staff, develop care plans, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to meet medical needs. The position requires experience in a senior or deputy role, and strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
• Willingness to work towards QCF Level 5 in Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operations of supported living services.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Supervise, mentor and train a team of caregivers.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to meet medical and care requirements.
• Monitor and adjust care plans to ensure effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Respond to concerns following company policies and safeguarding protocols.
