Job summary

SeeAbility in Bicester is seeking a Deputy Manager (12 months maternity cover) to support the Registered Manager across our Supported Living Homes. You will lead a dedicated team, uphold person-centred care, and help individuals live more independent lives.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safe, well-run services with compliance to safeguarding, risk management and CQC standards, while promoting dignity, choice, and positive outcomes for the people we support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, ABI, mental health needs, or physical disabilities.
• Experience in a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or similar role.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the service.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Support Workers.
• Conduct supervisions and support staff performance and development.
• Ensure support plans and risk assessments are accurate and reviewed regularly.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment; liaise with families and professionals.
