Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Oakmoor Lodge Care Home in Bushey. This luxury 72-bed home offers residential, dementia, and respite care in elegant surroundings with a hair and beauty salon, spa room, cinema, cafe, and landscaped gardens.

The role is full-time, 30–37 hours per week, based at London Road, Bushey. You will lead with compassion, support the team, and help create exceptional moments for residents daily.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care as a minimum.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is desirable or willingness to work towards it.
• Substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and passion for leading and delivering outstanding care.

Responsibilities

• Take a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Review and update care plans.
• Provide personal care to residents.
• Administer medication and facilitate social activities on each shift.

Pay: £16.32 per hour weekdays & £17.32 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

Contract: Full Time – Perm

Hour: 30 – 37 hours per week

What You’ll Bring

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
