Quantum Care's Beane River View in Hertford is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our 40-bed home. Lead with compassion on your designated unit, delivering high-quality person-centred care and supporting your team.

We offer a full-time permanent contract (30–37 hours), with pay £15.55 per hour on weekdays and £16.55 on weekends, plus a range of training, DBS check and pension benefits, and opportunities for progression within a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is essential.
• Experience working with older people in a residential setting.
• Desirable to hold Level 3 Diploma or willing to work towards.

Responsibilities

Hour: 30 – 37 hours per week

Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

What You’ll Bring

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
