Quantum Care’s Willow Court in Harpenden is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join a welcoming home. You will support residents with daily personal care, meals and activities, helping them maintain independence with dignity.

We offer comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and a friendly, supportive team. Roles include weekend and Bank Holiday shifts; full or part-time hours are available, with competitive pay and benefits.

We are seeking a Care Assistant

to join our welcoming Care Home Willow Court in Harpenden. Willow court is an 81 bed residential care home Located in a quiet residential area of Harpenden, it offers beautiful landscaped gardens, a welcoming café, hair and beauty salon, and excellent amenities for residents and staff alike.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person‑centered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first‑class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365‑day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person‑ centred care
