Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in the Ashton-under-Lyne area to lead a care team and deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing, and maintain accurate records.

You will communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and a supportive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach

Responsibilities

Job description

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

Our 43 bedded home provides residential and residential dementia care in Droylsden, just outside Manchester.
