Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant at Worsley Lodge to guide and support a care team in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and maintain accurate care records while coordinating with families and health professionals.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and a caring, professional approach to ensure consistent, excellent care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care; Level 3 desirable or willing to progress.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job description

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
