Job summary

Care Concern Group in Blacon, Chester, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide a team in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will oversee the shift, manage medication, monitor residents, and ensure clear communication with families and healthcare professionals.

The role focuses on compassionate care for a 48-bed home offering residential and dementia care. A minimum SVQ/NVQ Level 2 is required, with Level 3 desirable or progression toward it; medication training is

• Must have SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent; Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.

Job description

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

  £14.35- £14.95 per hour
