Job summary

Oakland Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Eastbourne to lead a team of Health Care Assistants and deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ care experience and a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.

You will administer medications, update care plans, and support families while ensuring a safe and compassionate home environment. A full-time, day-shift position offering a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ care experience or as Senior Care Assistant.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
• Trained in medication administration.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.

Hours: 42 hours per week

Pay: £14.30 per hour

Contract: Full time

• Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
