Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a night-shift senior care assistant for Southbourne Beach Care Home. The role focuses on delivering personal care, monitoring residents' wellbeing, updating care plans when needed, and acting as a key contact for families and health professionals.

What the job involves

• Deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring and inclusive environment, supporting the Care team
• Monitor each resident's wellbeing, spot changes affecting care, and amend care plans and written records
• Take part in person-centred care planning, implementing and monitoring plans and carrying out monthly evaluations
• Support residents with their medication
• Carry out staff supervisions and support staff development
• Act as key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals, acting on reasonable requests and escalating concerns or complaints

What’s required

Experience

• Two years' experience in a similar care environment
