About the Role

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
  2. Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
  3. Supporting residents with medication requirements.
  4. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
  5. Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated as needed.
About You

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
  • Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
