About The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, and communication with families, always with kindness.
You will also support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. A Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent) and experience in person-centered care planning, especially for dementia, are preferred. Your positive energy, communication skills, and ability to manage your time effectively are essential.
