Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Aire View Cre Home in Leeds to join a warm, dedicated team. You will deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to keep residents safe, comfortable, and well-supported.

Applicants should have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, plus about two years in a similar setting. Good communication and flexibility are essential to cover a range of duties and shifts.

ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.Other responsibilitieswillinclude:Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.Supporting residents with their medication requirements.Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
