Job summary

Millstone Mews in Bourne is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Days) to join our expanding team. You will manage medications, review care plans and mentor junior staff, delivering high-quality resident care at all times.

The role operates on a permanent rolling rota with three consecutive day shifts (08:00–20:00), averaging around 42 hours per week. Competitive hourly pay and full induction are provided to support outstanding service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
• Experience in a care setting is desirable.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer medication following care plans.
• Review and update resident care plans regularly.
• Mentor less experienced staff and support the care team.
• Maintain confidential resident records and monitor wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care and meals as required.
• Support with bed making, housekeeping and cleaning duties.
