Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant (Days) to join our 26 care homes across England. You will support residents with personal care, assist with daily living activities and help maintain a calm, compassionate home environment.

You will work with nursing and care teams, respond to call bells, liaise with GPs and nurses, and uphold our core values of Respect, Openness and Responsibility. UK-based applicants only; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• DBS disclosure required (enhanced DBS) and ISA evidence may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure care, domestic and kitchen staff support efficient home operation and create the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, door and telephone; greet visitors.
• Liaise with GPs, District Nurses and others to meet residents' healthcare needs.

As a Senior Care Assistant (Days), you will:

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc.
