Job summary

Greensleeves Care is recruiting a care worker to support residents across our 26 England-based homes. You will assist with personal care, liaise with healthcare professionals and contribute to creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere for residents and families.

The role offers full-time hours, a supportive team, ongoing learning and development opportunities, and a commitment to your wellbeing and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• QCF diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification.
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication.
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• Experience in providing care.

Responsibilities

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc.
