Job summary

Greensleeves Care in England is hiring a Senior Carer on days to support residents across our care homes. You will assist with personal care, liaise with healthcare professionals and help maintain a warm, respectful atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication.
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• Experience in providing care.

Responsibilities

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc.

Senior Carer - NVQ 4 Equivalent - £16.14 per hour
Senior Carer - NVQ 3 Equivalent - £15.80 per hour

As a Senior Care Assistant (Days), you will:

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification (Desirable)
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication (Essential)
