Job summary

Avery Healthcare is hiring a Senior Care Assistant for Beaconsfield Heights Care Home in Buckinghamshire. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Applicants should have an NVQ 3 in care (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience in similar settings, with strong communication skills and a flexible approach. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Experience delivering person-centred care in a care home setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and adjust care plans as needed.
• Contribute to monthly evaluations within the person-centred care planning process.
• Support residents with medication administration.
• Supervise and support junior staff development.
• Be a key contact for residents, relatives and professionals, handling requests and escalation of concerns.
