Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is looking for a warm, dedicated Senior Care Assistant for Acer House Care Home in Weston Super Mare, Somerset. Join our caring team to deliver high standards of personal care in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent, have at least two years’ experience in a similar setting, and communicate effectively with residents and staff. DBS check will be required and funded, with opportunities for learning and development.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in similar care environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Support residents with personal care and medication if required.
• Involve in monthly evaluations and care planning with the team.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and care professionals.
