Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm Senior Care Assistant for Lavender Lodge Care Home in Farnborough, Hampshire. You will work with the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment, supporting residents and colleagues with compassion.

The role requires an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes and at least 2 years' experience in a similar setting, plus excellent communication and flexible, responsive collaboration.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans as needed.
• Involve in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health professionals.
