Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team and deliver high standards of personal care for residents in a caring, open environment.

You will work alongside the care team, monitor residents' wellbeing, support medication needs, and participate in monthly evaluations, while upholding our values of respect and compassion across all aspects of resident care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care homes.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to support residents with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wellbeing of residents and update care plans accordingly.
• Support residents with personal care and assist with medication needs.
• Contribute to monthly evaluations and ongoing staff supervision.
• Serve as a point of contact for residents, relatives and health professionals.
• Escalate concerns or complaints as required.
