TipTopJob in Weymouth, Dorset is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker for an exceptional care home. This is a permanent full-time role, 36 hours per week, day shifts, providing high-quality resident care in a nursing and residential setting.

You must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Responsibilities include care planning, supervising staff, administering medication, and engaging with relatives and prospective residents. Salary £14.25/hr (£26,676 pa) with benefits.

This is a nursing and residential care home thats perfectly positioned in one of the most beautiful seaside towns on Englands south coast, is set to open soon

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

As a Senior Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
• Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
• Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Have a genuine desire to care for others

Benefits

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP14.25 per hour and the annual salary is GBP26,676 per annum.
