Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes and have around 2 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and a flexible, caring attitude. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Responsibilities include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, involvement in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
