About the Role

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring residents' wellbeing and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, monitoring, and evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development.
  • Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, addressing requests and escalating concerns or complaints.
About You

To succeed, you will embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Support and nurture residents and staff positively.
  • Be flexible and responsive to various responsibilities.
