Job summary

Avon Search is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a welcoming residential care home in New Tredegar, Wales. 36 or 48-hour contracts, weekends on rotation, with a competitive hourly salary and excellent benefits.

You will lead by example, supervise care staff, and ensure high standards of person-centred care while supporting residents and their families in a warm, friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Senior Carer.
• Passion for delivering person-centred care.

• Experience administering medication (desirable).

The home provides high-quality long-term residential care as well as short-term respite care, with a strong focus on delivering person-centred support in a warm, family-orientated environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring residents receive outstanding care while supporting and mentoring the wider care team.
