Avon Search is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for a luxury retirement home in Nailsea. You will work days or nights, leading the care team and delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

You will administer medication, maintain care plans and liaise with nurses and families to ensure dignity and wellbeing. A compassionate, reliable team player is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
• Experience as Senior Care Assistant in residential or nursing home.
• Medication administration experience.

• Able to work effectively as part of a supportive team.

Avon Search is recruiting on behalf of a well-established luxury residential and nursing care home located in the heart of Nailsea, Somerset.

This purpose-built 62-bed home provides high-quality residential, nursing and respite care within a welcoming and supportive environment. Surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and mature greenery, the home combines peaceful countryside surroundings with the convenience of nearby shops, cafés and excellent transport links.

The experienced management team leads a dedicated workforce of around 75 staff, creating a caring and professional atmosphere where residents receive truly person-centred support. The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents while providing guidance and leadership to the wider care team.
