Job summary

Agincare in Minehead is hiring a Senior Care Assistant to provide high-quality personal and domestic care in clients' homes and to mentor new team members. You will build lasting relationships with clients and their families while delivering compassionate care.

The role offers fully funded professional training up to QCF Level 5, mileage paid, a company pension, and flexible contracts to fit around you. 40 hours weekly with shifts from 7am to 10pm, including alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months care experience.
• NVQ level 2 is preferable.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• 40 hours per week with flexible shifts (7am–10pm) and alternating weekends.
• Right to work for 12 months; visa sponsorship not available.

About The Role

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.

• Ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking to progress their career.

What You Will Bring

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am - 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work - we currently cannot offer sponsorship
