Job summary

Agincare in Taunton is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to deliver personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes, helping them live independently with dignity. You will build strong, supportive relationships with clients and families while guiding newer team members to maintain high care standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months of care experience, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility to work around 40 hours per week across shifts from early to late.

About The Role

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes.
• Support and mentor new members of the care team.

• Ideal for experienced Care Assistants looking to progress their career.

What You Will Bring

• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature
• A minimum of 12 months' care experience, compassion, and a positive attitude - NVQ level 2 is preferable
• Full UK driving licence
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7am - 10pm and alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work - we currently cannot offer sponsorship
