HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Glasgow to lead compassionate care in their homes. This role involves planning and delivering personalized care, leading a team, and ensuring the dignity and independence of residents. Ideal candidates will have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and a passion for enhancing the lives of individuals in their care.
About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and serve as a positive influence. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communicating with families, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering team relationships are key parts of your role. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to pursue further qualifications. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is preferred. Your positive energy, kindness, effective communication, and time management are essential qualities.
