Job summary

Guthrie House Care Home in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Nightshift) on a contract basis. You will support residents with their needs during the night, lead by example, and collaborate with the night team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, prior experience in a care setting, and good communication. The position offers full and part-time hours, a two-week rolling rota, paid PVG, pension and uniform, plus generous leave.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a care environment.
• Medication administration experience is beneficial.

Senior Care Assistant (Nightshift) Contract

• £14.50 per hour
• Full Time & Part Time
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Two week rolling rota provided in advance, helping you plan ahead and achieve a better work life balance
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
