Job summary

Gilmerton Care Home in Edinburgh invites applications for a Care Assistant. The role focuses on compassionate support with daily routines, personal care, mobility and nutrition, while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience or SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential.

Gilmerton Care Home, located in the peaceful south of Edinburgh, offers exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• nightshift available
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
