Job summary

Meadowvale Care Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a dayshift role. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and oversee medication administration. The role emphasizes smooth shift management, accurate records, and collaboration with families and health professionals.

Applicants should have SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with Level 3 desirable or willingness to progress. PVG, pension, uniform and 5.6 weeks annual leave are included.

Qualifications

• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are required.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is required; Level 3 is desirable or progress toward it.

Senior Care Assistant Contract £14.50 per hour Contracted to 44 hours per week Dayshift

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
