Job summary

Meadowvale Care Home in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility and nutrition. You will follow care plans and monitor changes to ensure safe, responsive care within a supportive team.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development provided. A compassionate, respectful, and reliable approach is essential to help residents feel valued and well cared for.

Qualifications

• Being caring, compassionate and respectful in all interactions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Reliable and positive attitude for high-quality care.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Experience is beneficial but not essential; training provided. SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Job description

• Pay: £13.60 per hour
• Shift: Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Contract: Up to 44 hours per week
• Benefits: Paid PVG pension, uniform provided, 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
