Care Concern Group, through Westerton Care Home, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a shift and deliver high-quality care for residents. You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing, and maintain records while guiding a team of care staff.
We require SVQ2 in Health & Social Care (minimum) with Level 3 desirable, and medication administration competency. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role in Bearsden, Scotland.

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
