Job summary

Meadowvale Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, helping them maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will work as part of a supportive team, following personalised care plans and providing compassionate, person-centred care in a warm home environment.

Open to experienced carers or those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Care Assistant Contract

£13.60 per hour, contracted to 44 hours per week. Paid PVG pension, uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract).

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for.
