Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant for Benson House, Benson, Wallingford, to provide high-quality, person-centered care and support residents with daily living activities.

You will work alongside a supportive team, administer medications where required, develop care plans with healthcare professionals and families, and help maintain a warm, safe home for our residents.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Genuine passion for providing personalised, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities incl. personal hygiene, mobility, feeding.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
  • Support and mentor junior care staff.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans with professionals and families.
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure high standards of care.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and staff.

Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
