Job summary

Caring Homes is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Broadbridge Park in Horsham. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a 71-bed nursing, dementia and residential care home, with flexible full-time or part-time hours.

Shifts include alternate weekends. The role involves supporting daily living activities, administering medications where required, and contributing to individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or similar role.
  • Preferably in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility and feeding.
  • Administer medications and maintain records where required.
  • Mentor junior care staff to ensure excellent care.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain high standards of care.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
