Valarian Court Care Home in Didcot, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead the team on shift and ensure safe, person-centred care for residents.
You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing, maintain records, and liaise with families and professionals to ensure continuity of care. Alternate weekends required; full & part time hours are available.
Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, our newly-built care home offers exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for 70-residents.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
The successful candidate will be requird to work alternate weekends.
