Pay Rate: £13 per hour plus 25p per mile fuel allowance
Shifts available: Full time (9am – 5pm) with an element of on call
A driving licence and own transport is essential for this role

What you’ll get
What you’ll do
The Senior Care Assistant supports the delivery of high-quality care by assessing individual needs, supervising care workers, and participating in care planning and reviews. The role involves working closely with Care Coordinators to develop effective rotas, conducting regular service reviews, and participating in multi-disciplinary assessments. Shadowing new care workers ensures their competence, and routine supervision includes on-site observation and evaluation of care practices.
While primarily community-based, the role also includes some office-based administrative tasks.
What you’ll need
Experience in conducting initial risk and needs assessments in clients’ homes or other settings such as hospitals or residential/nursing homes. Ability to work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, healthcare professionals, and advocates to deliver holistic care support.
