Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Ipswich is seeking a Senior Care and Support Assistant to join our compassionate team. You will lead a team of Care and Support Assistants, support customers to build independence, and ensure safe medication administration in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising a team.
  • Personalised approach to care with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Recent experience supporting vulnerable people in a similar role.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and basic literacy and numeracy.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).
