Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Ipswich is seeking a Night Care and Support Assistant to deliver personalised care and support for clients with mental health needs. The role focuses on enabling independence, daily living tasks, and safe medication administration while maintaining a compassionate, community-oriented approach.

You will work within a not-for-profit setting that reinvests in staff development, with opportunities for training, flexible working options, and a supportive culture designed

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Good communication skills to build relationships with customers.
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised care and support, helping customers live as independently as possible.
  • Support with washing, dressing, bathing and personal hygiene.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately.
  • Assist with shopping, cleaning and laundry tasks.
  • Help customers arrange and attend appointments.
  • Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers and reducing social isolation.
  • Keep accurate records and follow safe practices, including risk assessments.

Your role
