Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Bank Support Assistant in Sheffield to provide high-quality assistance to customers with mental health needs. You will support their confidence and daily living skills, working closely within a compassionate team.

Your role

  • Support customers with mental health needs to build confidence and reach their potential
  • Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service
  • Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement
  • Promote social inclusion and help customers develop resilience and self-esteem
  • Work with agencies on behalf of customers, encouraging choice and acting as an advocate when needed
  • Maintain a safe environment and follow relevant regulations and practices
  • Caring, approachable nature
  • Ability to keep accurate records and share information clearly with the team
  • Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families and agencies
  • Experience working effectively as part of a team
