Job summary

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to lead training, supervision, and assessment across the Cardiac Physiology department. The role focuses on developing on-the-job training, maintaining clinical competencies, and supporting education needs, including STP programmes.

You will be Deputy for Non-Invasive Cardiology and drive high-quality training while promoting HCPC standards and pathways. A Band 7 senior post with flexible working is offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of STP or equivalent with HCPC/RCCP/AHCS registration or within 12 months.
• Postgraduate cardiology qualification or relevant training/assessors qualification.
• Experience in a training focused role within Cardiac Physiology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level clinical expertise across cardiac investigations and chosen specialism.
• Organise, deliver and assess high quality clinical training within Cardiac Physiology.
• Act as Training Officer for National School of Healthcare Science programmes (e.g. STP).
• Deputise for Non-Invasive Cardiology to support day-to-day coordination.
