Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Capital Reporting Analyst to support effective and accurate Solvency II reporting within our Institutional Retirement division. This hybrid role allows flexible working between home and our London office in Moorgate.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing quarterly and ad-hoc recalculations of the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR)
  • Validating and analyzing internal model results, including impacts of model changes and calibration
  • Conducting stress and scenario testing on our capital position
  • Recalibrating proxy models for SCR calculations
  • Maintaining and developing proxy modeling processes and controls
  • Supporting prioritization and scheduling of reporting and process improvements
  • Implementing process and methodology enhancements for better accuracy
  • Building effective relationships across the business

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Nearly or newly qualified actuary with life insurance experience
  • Experience in Solvency II capital reporting, stress testing, and ALM
  • Understanding of Solvency II metrics, matching adjustment, and regulatory environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to review results critically
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in process review and improvements
  • Knowledge of UK Pension Risk Transfer is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Python or R is advantageous
